Our Story

A shoe store that grew into a boutique.

Patty and Eli Jones opened Centro in March 2014 with one idea: give the Grand Strand a proper shoe boutique. Patty had spent her whole career in retail — managing a women's boutique in Syracuse before falling for Myrtle Beach — and she still picks every line herself.

Ten years on, we've added clothing, handbags and jewelry from designers we'd wear ourselves. But the shoes are still what set us apart. Most boutiques on the Grand Strand can dress you. We can finish the look.
